Vidya was established to bridge the gap between traditional and livelihood education. This school did not want to produce top-scoring students, but human beings who knew how to sustain themselves, their loved ones and most importantly, how to live.
While the school is trying to sustain itself and its children through all the help it can get, there are challenges yet to be overcome.
Growing up in a flood-ravaged Subahi village, I witnessed firsthand the struggle for quality education. This experience fueled my passion for creating opportunities for underprivileged students.
Today, as a professor and Vidya’s founder, I’m realising my dream of providing quality education to all, regardless of background.
Your support can transform lives. Together, we can uplift entire generations and break the cycle of poverty.
