Challenges

Why Parijat Needs Your Help

The school offers free education to all its children. As a result, the administration is left with little to no funds to support their staff and operational expenses.

From The Founder

“We Have Enough, And Yet We Don't "

Parijat has been lucky enough to receive support from generous donors. And that is how we have been able to sustain ourselves since the past 20 years.

Back in the day when I had just graduated from Cotton College, I knew I wanted to help the children in the remote region of Pamohi. I had only INR 800 to spare for this project, something I had earned by providing private tuition to schoolchildren.

From that day to today, Parijat accommodates more than 350 students up to grade 10.

That is when I decided to set up a unit of Parijat in Garbhanga.

And with the support of Uttam Teron, the founder of Parijat Academy, I started Parijat Academy, Garbhanga. This school now accommodates children up to grade 7.

I am the only teacher and the coordinator of the school. And, I need your help.
